Hi! We’re Justice and Sue. We started building our food forest garden in 2014 around our humble house on a one-third acre lot in the small town of Campbell River, BC, Canada.
Justice has been an avid hobby gardener and backyard permaculturalist for the past two decades, and served once upon a time as a teacher at the Linnaea farm ecological gardening programme.
Sue is new to this type of gardening and is very enthusiastic. She keeps honeybees in top-bar hives, and is a cat mom to Stuart the orange tabby. Sue also wants you to know that while she may have hippy leanings, she brings a healthy dose of urban cynicism to her small town life.
Our food forest garden has become central to our home at Munson Manor, and enriches our lives in many ways. We want to show off our cool garden, share our passion, and maybe even inspire you to build your own food forest garden.
Our blog aims to inspire and inform, and we’re working on a food forest garden book for the Pacific Northwest.
